「雲端運算」的概念迅速崛起,雲端上的各項服務亦愈來愈受到重視,雖然它並非全新技術,但卻重新塑造了資訊產業的價值鏈,開啟了軟體即服務的新紀元。台灣的資訊科技產業向來以硬體製造為擅長,資訊軟體產業規模較小,若要搶得全球雲端服務市場的先機,將仰賴軟硬體廠商的合作,以開發高附加價值的雲端系統,否則恐將面臨被全球市場邊緣化而淘汰的危機,政府及資通訊科技產業都注意到了雲端運算服務將帶來的衝擊,為了能利用雲端運算提高經營效率,政府推動了雲端運算產業發展方案,在這波趨勢中,與雲端運算功能及技術相關的商品,成為現今最熱門的話題。 本研究探討國內某電信業者在雲端服務市場的上的規劃佈局,包括透過自行開發及策略聯盟,並將所蒐集之初級資料及次級資料與市場研究分析資料彙整,進行研究分析。 根據IDC的預測,雲端運算伺服器銷售額將在未來五年之內成長至126億美元,年複合成長率達4.29%,顯示目前全球雲端運算正處於高度成長的起飛期,因此,本研究以觀察法來探討國內電信業者針對國內外市場情報機構所做之預測,有效找尋雲端市場的利基之地。 The idea of cloud computing emerges rapidly and the services on clouds receives more attention. Although it is not a brand new technology, it reshapes the value chain of the information industry and opens the new age of software as a service. The information industry in Taiwan is always good at hardware production rather than software design. If Taiwan wants to take the initiative in the cloud service market, the hardware and software venders have to cooperate to develop high value-added cloud system to avoid marginalization and obsolescence in global market. The government and the ICT industry notice the impact from the cloud computing service. For improving the efficiency of business operations via cloud computing, the government launches the cloud computing industry development program. Any merchandise related to cloud computing easily attracts attention. This study elaborates the layout strategy in cloud computing service market of one of the telecommunication companies in Taiwan, including self-development and strategic alliance. We analyze this case by collecting the primary data, secondary data and the market research analysis. According to IDC's forecast, sales of cloud computing servers will grow to $ 12.6 billion within the next five years with an annual compound growth rate up to 4.29%. It indicates that theglobal cloud computing market is in the take-off phase.Therefore, this study uses inspection method to discuss the domestic and foreign agencies’ forecast and look for the cloud service niche market.
