Abstract:	本研究主要探討專利拍賣(patent auction)方式對專利所有人出售其專利的利得的影響。不同於以往的專利出售方式，專利拍賣提供了較為直接、透明的交易平台。然而，就我們所知，目前並無專利拍賣這方面的實證分析。本研究所考慮的專利拍賣方式有兩種，一為公開的專利拍賣(public auction)，一為私下的專利拍賣(private auction)。本計劃將前者作為第一年的研究工作，後者則為第二年的研究工作。由於兩種專利拍賣的方式不一樣，所需收集的資料也不同，第一年將由專門公開且現場拍賣專利的Ocean Tomo 公司的網路，收集2006 年至2008 年總共8 次的專利拍賣資料，第二年的資料則是由eBay 網站收集專利的private auction 資料。我們將實證分析並比較兩種不同專利拍賣的方式，對專利出售成交價格的影響因素。 This study is aimed to investigate the effect of patent auction on the benefits of patent owner when a patent is offered for sale. Different from the traditional way of selling a patent, patent auction provides a more direct and transparent platform. However, there has been no empirical study on this subject so far. We consider public patent auction as well as private patent auction. The public patent auction is the first year research subject, while the private patent auction is the second year research subject. Due to the differences of these two patent auction formats, the data needed for empirical analysis has to be collected from two different sources. We will collect public auction data from the website of Ocean Tomo LLC., while the private auction data from eBay. This project then analyzes and compares the impact of these two patent auctions on the determinants of transaction price of patent sale. 研究期間：10008 ~ 10107
