中國大陸在2010年已超越日本，成為全球第二大經濟體，隨著兩岸MOU及ECFA之簽署，台資銀行已正式登陸營運，在中國大陸設立據點的區位因素研究有其重要性與必要性。 本研究整理出適合台資銀行前往大陸地區設立據點之評估構面與指標變數，並利用敘述統計分析、因素分析及集群分析，試圖歸納出重要的區位影響因素。本研究使用各大陸城市最近4年公開之數據進行驗證，期盼提供台資銀行業者更科學之量化分析工具，並做為西進大陸市場的區域及城市選擇之戰略參考。研究結果顯示：一、適合台資銀行當作前往大陸地區設立據點之區位影響因素有：台商指標、中國工業中小企業指標、金融環境指標、區域經濟指標等四大構面計27個變數。二、針對四大地理區域計算之敘述統計結果，區域排序由高至低依序為：1.珠三角及海西地區，2.長三角地區，3.東北部地區，4.中西部地區。三、利用因素分析法客觀地篩選出，影響台資銀行前往大陸地區設立據點之因素可歸納為四大類：市場規模因素、潛在目標客戶因素、政策因素及發展潛力因素。另依相關權數的假設，對四個區域進行評分，評分結果由高至低依序為：1.長三角地區，2.珠三角及海西地區，3.東北部地區，4.中西部地區。四、利用刪除省級變數的區位得分進行集群分析，20個樣本城市被歸類為四個集群。集群一：上海、深圳，集群二：蘇州、寧波、廣州、北京，集群三：杭州、佛山、福州、廈門、重慶、天津、瀋陽、大連、青島，集群四：台州、南昌、鄭州、武漢、成都。根據四種集群相關變數的敘述統計分析，得知台資銀行欲在大陸地區設立分支機構時，優先選擇的城市順序依序為：1.集群一，2.集群二，3.集群三，4.集群四。Mainland China has surpassed Japan in 2010 to become the world's second largest economic power. It is also the region with Taiwan’s largest foreign investment. By signing both MOU and ECFA，Taiwanese banks have officially launched their operations in China. It is important and necessary to consider location factors when setting up offices in Mainland China。 This Study pointed out the location dimensions and indicator variables to better assess Mainland China for Taiwanese banks; it used descriptive statistics analysis、Factor Analysis and Cluster Analysis on the influence of the orientation in accordance to the above factors. It also used the public empirical test data of each city in Mainland China in the last four years to provide Taiwanese banks more scientific and quantifiable analysis tools for their references on strategies and the location choices of the Mainland market and city.The results showed that：1.The impacting location factors that suit Taiwanese banks to better assess the Mainland areas are Taiwanese business indicators、China's small and medium industrial enterprises indicators、Financial environmental indicators、The overall economic indicators，with a total of four dimensions and 27 variables。2. The descriptive statistics results for the four geographic regions in descending order ：(1) Pearl River Delta and the haixi regions，(2) Yangtze River Delta regions，(3) Northeast regions，(4) Midwest regions。3. The results of Factor Analysis，the factors that influence Taiwanese banks to assess where to establish branches in the Mainland China can be grouped into four categories：Size of the market factors、Potential target customer factors、Policy factors and the potential development factors。Another ratings result according to the weights of the four regions in descending order is：(1) The Yangtze River Delta regions，(2) The Pearl River Delta and the haixi regions，(3) The Northeast regions，(4) The Midwest regions。 The result of execute Cluster Analysis in accordance with the district score of removal of provincial-level variables was divided 20 cities into four clusters。Cluster one：Shanghai、Shenzhen，Cluster two: Suzhou、 Ningbo、 Guangzhou、Beijing ，Cluster three: Hangzhou、 Foshan、 Fuzhou、 Xiamen、 Chongqing、 Tianjin、 Shenyang、 Dalian、 Qingdao，Cluster four: Taizhou、 Nanchang、 Zhengzhou、 Wuhan、and Chengdu。According to the results of descriptive statistics analysis，the priority of Taiwanese banks setting up branches in Mainland China in descending order is：1. Cluster one，2. Cluster two，3. Cluster three，4. Cluster four。
