Abstract:	在價格競爭(即Bertrand競爭)之下，廠商自認的自身需求彈性較數量競爭(即Cournot競爭)高。換言之，價格競爭較數量競爭激烈。故文獻上預期：價格競爭之下，會有較低的價格且較高的產量。本研究計畫之最終目的乃是在於比較Bertrand均衡與Cournot均衡。本計畫採用之研究策略乃是把個人所熟悉的多產品獨占理論強調的觀點帶入寡占理論中：本計畫強調我們應該先研究Bertrand競爭與Cournot競爭如何扭曲價格結構(price structure)與產量結構(output structure)，做好這個基礎工作後,再進行比較兩種均衡解。 ; It has been widely held that price competition (Bertrand competition) is more competitive than quantity competition (Cournot competition). This project aims at comparing these two modes of competition.
