S公司為台灣早期投入永磁材料研發與生產,目前在台灣、馬來西亞與大陸東莞都有生產基地,主要生產以鐵氧體磁鐵為主。而鐵氧體磁鐵由於本身磁性能的限制與體積關係,產品主要是應用在工業用產品為主。而工業產品的產品生命週期較長、需求相對穩定、對供應鏈的反應速度要求相對較低。釹鐵硼永磁體是稀土永磁行業的主導產品,為第三代稀土永磁材料,相對於第一代和第二代稀土永磁體而言,釹鐵硼永磁體具有更強的磁性能及更好的產品應用。其為S公司在近年投入的新產品線,主要應用在資訊產品中,而資訊產品的產品生命週期較短、規格替換快速,因此對於及時達交有極高的要求。在新的環境下,S公司如何根據供應鏈管理的思想理論與方法,構建穩定的供應商動態管理體系、提升自身的核心能力、贏得競爭優勢,成為S公司成功轉型的重要研究課題。植基於此,本研究(1)回顧供應鏈及供應鏈管理相關理論,並討論與分析基於供應鏈的執行資訊系統的架構;(2)分析S公司產品線轉型的行業環境與市場競爭環境,概述S公司轉型後的市場及供應鏈管理資訊化的要求;(3)完成S公司供應鏈執行資訊系統設計,並介紹資訊系統分析設計的步驟及變革後S公司供應鏈流程,及介紹公司供應鏈結構和公司產銷管理模組 (4)針對變革的個案進行討論與分析。本研究透過對S公司轉型後供應鏈管理的資訊管理需求,完成其供應鏈管理資訊體系的設計。因此提高S公司的生產、經營、管理、決策的效率和水準,且資訊技術管理提高S公司獲利能力及企業競爭力。同時,本研究也可為同類產業的相關應用提供了一種解決方式。 Company S entered the research and development market for permanent magnetism materials in Taiwan about forty years ago. Currently, it has four production sites in Malaysia, China and Taiwan and produces mainly Ferrite magnet. Due to the volume of the ferrite magnet and the limitation of its magnetic performance, it is only used for industrial products. Industrial products usually have longer lifecycles with stable demand hence its responsiveness to the supply chain is relatively slow. The third generation permanent magnet, NdFeB, outperforms the first and second generation in magnetic performance and can be more widely applied to products. Company S in the past years invested in NdFeB and selected notebook as its target market. Notebook has a short product lifecycle and wide-ranging spec therefore, it all comes down to time to market. Under today’s new business environment, it has become vital for Company-S to transform its organization, to build up a stable supply chain management system, and enhance its core capabilities and gain competitive strength which will be the important subject for Company S. We have following finding at this study: 1. Reviews the supply chain theory, supply chain management theory and analyzes management information system in relevance to supply chain management 2. Analyzes the industrial surroundings and market competitiveness after Company S’ product transformation, the product market of the third generation magnet and the need for management information system in the supply chain after its product transformation 3. Completes the design of management information system of supply chain and introduces the steps of MIS design and the supply chain process after phase in of management information system in Company S 4. Discusses and analyzes the case of Company.
After understanding Company S’ requirements for a supply chain management information system, this study finishes the design of the MIS. After the organization transformation of the company, the need for an enhanced MIS becomes significant. The supply chain MIS improves the company’s production, management and allows efficiency in strategic decision making leading to better decision standards. The supportive structure of the supply chain MIS increases Company S profitability and competitiveness of Company S. This study also proposes a MIS solution to other related industries.
