研究期間:10108~10207;In view of the continuously worsening environment, strategies for sustainable development that are environmental friendly have drawn worldwide attention and become an important factor determining companies’ profitability as well as innovativeness. Research and development (R&D) related activities have also been transformed from purely internal R&D activities into integrated external knowledge to expand the available knowledge base of the company. Previously, companies considered organizational internal knowledge as their foundation in the future. This type of mentality, however, is quite outdated. To enhance one’s competitiveness in sustainable development, companies nowadays have to get involved in multidisciplinary collaboration for innovation and employ knowledge creation to promote its performance in green innovation. The goal of this study, therefore, is to investigate the mediating effect of knowledge creation on collaboration and performance in green innovation. Triangulation will be employed for testing the structure of the study. The researchers will interview green manufacturers in Taiwan using questionnaires to investigate whether focusing on collaboration and knowledge creation process can enhance performance in green innovation and facilitate company’s sustainable development. Findings from this study can help subsequent researchers recognize the importance of knowledge creation process as well as its impacts on green innovation performance while investigating multi-disciplinary collaboration. Furthermore, the findings can also provide managers with practical suggestions for sustainable development.
