研究期間:10108~10207;The 194 Countries meeting in Durban, South Africa, December 2011, have agreed to start negotiations on an accord that would put all countries under the same legal regime to enforce their commitments to curb greenhouse gas. Carbon footprint has become one of the most suitable methods to measure the greenhouse gases from the business operating activities. Measuring the carbon footprint in business operations is included three scopes: direct greenhouse gas emissions, electricity indirect greenhouse gas emissions, and other indirect greenhouse gas emissions. The nature of the carbon footprint is undesirable output in the business operations. There are many researchers have studied the environmental performance in the business operations, which was not measured from the perspective of carbon footprint. With incorporating the three scopes of carbon footprint, the slack-based measure model will be developed to evaluate the business operational efficiency. This study further examines the effect of industry type and energy structure on the adjustment of three scopes of carbon footprint in business operations.
