摘要: | 研究期間:10208~10307;This research project primarily approach through gender study and political participation, to explore the structural factors especially to clarify the relations, before and after the election, between gender, political families, local fictions, ethnic groups, kinship, social groups and political parties. There are two main purposes of this research project : First, to analyze the structural factors of Taiwan women’s participation in grassroots politics, especially to substantively demonstrate the complex local structure and context that women’s participation in local grassroots elections. Second, to develop local concept of Taiwan women’s participation in politics as to further establish the theory of Taiwan women’s participation in politics. It presents stark difference with local features in Taiwan women’s participation for different county (city) councilors elections. To analyze their participation in politics, neither can we ignore gender viewpoints, nor can we alienate ourselves from local situational context, especially those kinship, social clubs, networks, ethnic, local fictions, political families, agricultural irrigation and fishing systems, and political parties of different areas. How to interact with different genders as to influence Taiwan women’s local participation in politics, all of which is the key point this research is to explore. This research is a two-year qualitative study project. The first year is primarily to collect and summarize the data, news relates reports, laws and regulations pertinent to Central Election Commission of Taiwan women’s participation in local country (city) councilors election to build in full scale the databank of Taiwan women’s participation in politics. The second year is to conduct an in-depth interview with female political figures and people in this field, analyze and explore above-mentioned relevant information, clarify the structural factors of Taiwan women’s participation in local politics to which an appropriate concept and interpretation will be presented and related theories can be constructed and research outcome can be thus addressed. |
