研究期間:10108~10207;Exploring the external innovators’ commitment of continuance in open innovation model Knowledge is the key for enterprises to get competitive advantage in service-dominant logic. In a hypercompetitive environment, useful knowledge is widespread inside or outside the organization. How to attract and motivate external innovators to participate in the open innovation system is a critical issue for enterprises to exploit external knowledge. However, the extant literature about open innovation focuses on open-oriented organization rather than external innovators; moreover, researchers pay most attention to open community compared to open market. This research intends to fill the research gap based on the theoretical foundation of social exchange theory. First, this study intends to interview external innovators and use qualitative methodology to deeply understand the factors to encourage or impede them to form commitment of participation in the open innovation. These factors come from the first stage and become the key to form constructs in research model for the second stage. The large scale survey and quantitative analysis in the second stage can provide the causal relationship between constructs to get more insight about the external innovators’ commitment. Finally, considering various similar open-oriented organizations coexisting in practice, this study includes present and potential perceived value with incumbent, and expected value from alternative partners. The present study intends to suggest the strategy about sustaining external innovators’ commitment in the open innovation system.
