|Abstract: ||本論文是研究在分散型產業中,企業如何同時兼顧產品創新及維持成本優勢,分散型產業由大量的中、小型企業所組成,其主要的特性為—在胚胎期產業缺乏規模經濟(economies of scale),具有低進入障礙的特性(Supermicro 在1993成立之初僅有三個硬體設計工程師),但隨著產業進入成長期,就會吸引更多的競爭者,並且產業內會進行整併,一些沒有特別核心競爭力的公司就會因此退出該產業。|
;The paper is to study the company how to take both advantages at product innovation and cost competition in Fragmented industry. The Fragmented industry is combined by many middle or small company, the major characters are – less economies of scale at the prototype. It has the character of low barrier to entry this industry-(Supermicro has only 3 hardware engineer when it found in 1993), according to industry is growing soon and it entries in “growth period”. It attracts many competitors to join this industry and companies are merged to each other until some companies have no core-competed. They will push out from this industry.
The paper is to discuss the company in IT field, in case study- Supermicro; how to get servile and ongoing to keep leading position from bigger competitors like IBM,HPDELL,SUN in Server field. We need to plan what kind model of outsourcing and supply chain to maintain the existing advantage according to varied different domain in time and space.
