    題名: 組織文化對企業永續經營之影響---以某外商為例之個案研究

    摘要: 所有企業在威脅與日俱增的產業環境中,無不為了生存而做出很多努力,進而邁進自已較不熟悉的領域。甚至,無意於市場擴張的公司,都發現到外界己逐步侵入其勢力範圍,在全球村之中,想要找到利基或是躲在障礙之後,已可說愈來愈難。例如,在一九七o年代位居財星五百大企業的公司,到了一九八三年,其中有三分之一不是己被收購成宣告瓦解,後遭到與其他公司合併的命運。
    本研究探討在這種競爭環境裏,為加強本身永續經營的競爭能力,永續經營之公司有何特殊之處。
    從我們的研究可以得到下列的結論:
    1.對身旁的世界保持敏感性,但堅持核心價值:不論是否己建立了知識上或自然資源上的財富,永續經營之公司都能順應同隨世界的改變。跨國企業所接觸的世界,先天上較缺乏穩定性,也更難以影响,為了獲得成功,跨國企業必須作必要的改變,而核心價值提供一貫的基礎,導引永續經營的公司據以演進、實驗和改變,而獲致進步。
    2.自我認知的組織文化:不論企業多角化的程度有多廣,永續經營公司的員工都有身為整體之一部份的感覺,不管身在何處,他們也都自認是歷足悠久企業的管家,為了培養這種深遠的組織文化,永續經營公司積極栽培自家經理人,而且更重視員工而非資產,資產與利潤就像是氧氣一樣,只是生活的必需品,人員的培養與最適化才能建立永續經營的公司。
    3. 容忍新的想法:永續經營的公司對游走於邊緣地帶的活動採取容忍的態度。他們認知到,創新活動經常來自這些未經計畫,沒有確定方向,卻產生新穎和意外的進步之路,如同生物物種的演化。
    ;In the threatening business environment, all enterprises have to pay more efforts for survivorship, even to stride forward into unfamiliar field. Some of no-intention to extend companies also found exterior multinational corporations intruded into its advantaged field. In the global village, it became more difficult to be protected and survive under tariff barrier, patent and government regulation. For instance, there was a third enterprise of The Future 500 in 1970 was disappeared or merged in 1980.
        
    The research intends to dig out the distinction of the visionary companies in the competitive business environment. 
    Some recommendations were provided from this research as below,
    1. To be sensitive to the uncertain world and insist the core value: No matter how rich on the capital & knowledge already had for the sustainable enterprise, the sustainable enterprise always orientate with the uncertain business environment. Congenitally, a multi-national enterprise confronting in the world is more uncontrolled by themselves. The sustainable enterprise must progressively conduct the transformation to survive and extend its business scope and the core value provides consistent guidance of evolution, experiment and success.
    2. Self-recognition of organization culture: No matter, how the extensive degree of diversification, the employees of sustainable corporation always recognize himself as part or representative of company, no matter where they are and play a role of steward of the corporation. It is an organization culture made in his alike home-country company. In order to maintain the culture, it is necessary to develop the managers for long period. The corporation also recognize the people is the valued capital than physical facility or money.
    3. To tolerate new ideas: The sustainable corporations take the border activities or experiments as tolerant manner due to they recognize the new innovations come from the unplanned and uncertain direction. The novel & unexpected progress were made as the evolution of biophysical species.
