本研究以國內數家專業高科技產業公司的高階經理人為研究對象,目的在探討專業高科技人員隨著職位晉升成為高階經理人,其決策風格之改變和提昇領導和思考模式所產生轉變的決策風格變化型態。期能藉此研究發現,促使專業高科技人員建立階段性目標的參考方向,進而晉升成為企業高階經理人。 本研究是以哈佛商業雜誌 2006 年二月刊之精明主管決策風格文獻為主作為延伸,再依據其擔任職位從初階到高階的管理階層中,觀察五種管理階層的決策風格組合,並針對每一階層成功的經理人所需的行為特質作出分析,然後去觀察這些特質如何隨管理階層變化而改變行為特質。期望能透過國內企業高階經理人的訪談研究,瞭解國內企業管理階層行為特質變化,提供國內、外企業人士及科技人員參考。 ;The purpose of this study is to understand the career development of the Hi-Tech engineers who become top managers and the factors affecting their decision style from the observation of their leadership and thinking model. Through the face-to-face interviews, this study examined five top managers from Hi-Tech companies. The target aims at to study those specialized Hi-Tech personnel along with the positional promotion for the relationship between positional promotion and their leadership and thinking model transformation. In addition, this thesis finds that cultivating personal interests, developing professional abilities and establishing the good studies are contributing to the goal in Hi-Tech engineers’ careers. This study is based on a research paper on Harvard Business Review in Feb 2006 entitled: Smart Leaders discussion style. At the end of the analysis, it provides effective suggestions to technical people in Hi-Tech industry as regards to how to be promoted to the top position by plans. Hopefully, it may precisely define manager's essential responsibility and the duty on each level step by step, and also help to establish high-potential superiority for the profession of the Hi-Tech personnel. With this kind of important managerial skill, they can achieve the career goal of the promoting up to be the enterprise leaders.
