自從1962年第一顆紅光發光二極體（Light Emitting Diode，LED）封裝完成後，隨著光電技術不斷創新與效能提升，LED產業愈來愈篷勃發展，加上全世界環保節能政策的宣導與提暢，使得較傳統照明節省能源的LED替代運用更加廣泛。本研究在探討LED產業在面臨市場快速變化時，如何運用存貨管理策略使產業降低不必要的損失。並以從1983年創立迄今26年的台灣LED產業中下游封裝與銷售績優領導廠商E公司為個案，研究其運用策略性存貨管理所表現的營運績效，使E公司有效的提升各項存貨數據，避免無謂損失侵蝕獲利。 研究結論指出，E公司的存貨管理策略主要可產生下列功能：(1)降低成本(2)提高存貨週轉率(3)降低存貨跌價損失(4)改善工作流程及方法，提高工作效率(5)精進產品品質。因著這樣的管理模式，帶動了同業的效法，使產業績效提升。 研究報告針對未來存貨管理方式提出對個案公司的建議有：(1)運用系統整合整體供應鏈、(2)管理能力思維和視野不斷創新等。 所謂「成也庫存，敗也庫存」，說明存貨管理是LED產業最後之決戰場，只有透過有效的存貨管理策略才能將管理重點集中在降低庫存、降低成本與損失，把營運績效發揮到極致，使台灣LED產業競爭力提升，以躍居世界龍頭地位為主要目標。 ;The technique of Optoelectronics innovate and promote its function continuously, following the first LED be packaged on 1962. Due to LED product had been publicized for environmental protection and energy-saving policy, It had replaced the traditional lighting widely and getting more and more flourished. The purpose of this study is to investigate the Inventory Management Strategy be used in LED industry to avoid the unnecessary loss while facing the rapid changing market. We use the case of E company who is the leading LED industry of middle and down streams in Taiwan. Since its establishment in 1983, it has been testified to be the best one in inventory management. To understand what kind of inventory management strategies make this company became profitable during violent competition. The study showed by performing good inventory management strategies, the company had decreased the inventory cost and increasing Inventory Turnover, lower the loss on Price Falling of Inventories, improving the working process and quality, etc. The researcher offers some suggestions for E company on how to manage inventory well from uncertain market. Finally, by doing so we hope to make our LED industry have less cost on management, and to be the first one in the world .
