    Abstract: 台灣製造業多以OEM代工為主,近年來由於生產成本日增,加上東南亞及中國大陸的低價代工搶單,除了要持續確保維持製造面的優勢,更要擁有具競爭力的產品,以及最短的產品上市時間。因此,製造業從原有單純的OEM代工製造的型態,發展成具有多工性質的代工設計能力的ODM模式已是必經之途。
    而新產品開發(New Product Development, NPD)就是重要的輔助工具項目之一。以台灣的製造業為例,進行NPD 已是企業重要的競爭策略,其重要性除了可以擺拖技術原廠的控制之外,也可以為該企業創造差異化,因此,國內的製造廠皆朝這個方向在努力。故實施重點在於將NPD流程系統化,本研究藉由同步工程(Concurrent Engineering, CE)的理論運用,做有效的整合性管控與運作流程,以系統化的方式去整合產品開發與所有相關的程序,以這樣的管理方式可提供產品開發人員完整的產品生命週期中的相關資料。
    本研究將針對LED Lead Frame製造業個案,來探討開發計畫專案中同步工程與協同開發之概念,以及如何規劃其NPD系統,再針對以專案管理人員的角度探討是否具備快速動員組織內資源、跨單位整合協調與縮短開發時程,改善所服務的公司現有流程,期望能提供企業之參考。
    ;Most of Taiwan manufacturers main business is OEM. However, the production cost and human resource in Taiwan are getting higher and higher that impacts the whole business structure now. More competitors from China and South East Asia use lower quotation (low production cost and labor cost) to get OEM business from Taiwan manufacturers. Taiwan′s position in this industry is not taking the lead anymore. To get the position back, Taiwan manufacturers need to keep the advantage of production ability. Further more, Taiwan manufacturers need to make products with more features and shorten the production time to differentiate their products and services. Thus, it′s necessary Taiwan manufacturers change the business model from pure OEM service to Multi-functional ODM.
    The new product development (NPD) is an important assistance tool, so import the NPD is already important enterprise competition strategy, the technique control by self and you can create differentiated for business, therefore the domestic manufactory makes great effort into this direction. The implementation is particularly lies in systematizing of NPD, Concurrent engineering is a systematic approach to the integrated, concurrent design of products and their related process, it will improve the communication and coordination in the concurrent engineering environment, this management method can provide the RD related data of product life cycle.
    This research aims at a LED lead frame manufacturing case study that the concept of concurrent engineering and collaborative development projects that we can realize how to plan NPD systems whether have to quick mobilized organization restructuring and Cross-functional teams that the processes will effect implement improvement works of this stage.
