    Abstract: 現今在各產業間競爭激烈的態勢中,企業內部積極尋求將利潤最大化及成本最小化的管理方法以提升產業競爭力,其中精實生產(Lean Production)與六標準差方法(Six Sigma)已在產業激烈競爭的環境中受到廣泛的採納與運用,其顯著的改善成效已眾所皆知。
    精實生產著重於降低生產中浪費,縮短製程前置時間及持續改善為其核心價值;六標準差著重於控制製程變異,系統性管控品質為其核心價值。精實管理的「速度」與六標準差的「品質」兩者之間如何取得平衡,精實六標準差(Lean Six Sigma, LSS)即提供在改善活動中又可兼顧實際效率的方法。
    ;Today among dynamic competition in the industry, the enterprise will actively seek for management method regarding maximize profits and minimize costs to enhance industrial competitiveness, which Lean Production and Six Sigma methods has been widely adopted and used in the industry highly competitive environment, Significant improvement in their effectiveness has been well known.
    Lean production focuses on reducing the production of waste, shorten process lead times and continued to improve; the core values of Six Sigma focuses on control process variation and systematic quality control. How to get balance between the "quality" of Six Sigma and "Speed" of Lean Management, Lean Six Sigma (Lean Six Sigma, LSS) is providing in improvement activities but also take into account the actual efficiency.
    In case study, the improvement of container cleaning process for LCD manufacturer as an example, the use of Six Sigma′s approach, according to the definition (Define), measure (Measure), analysis (Analyze), improve (Improve), control (Control) step carrying out ad hoc improvements according to existing plant operations and cleaning equipment to shorten cleaning time of container including quality improvement program through lean management and six Sigma practices, thereby enhancing the efficiency of cleaning operations, reduce production costs, meantime, you can also save the cleaning process in wasted resources and energy, thereby enhancing industrial competitiveness, but also but also contribute to corporate social responsibility.
