    Title: 大五人格、工作動機與薪資之探討-以電信通路S公司為例

    Abstract: 本研究以電信通路S公司業務處員工為研究對象,探討大五人格、工作動機與薪資之關聯性。本研究以大五人格包含情緒穩定性、外向性、開放性、親和性、謹慎負責性,以及工作動機包含內在工作誘因之挑戰性、樂趣享受及外在工作誘因之外在肯定、財務誘因為主要的影響因素,探討人格及動機與員工薪資之間的關係。
      本研究採用電腦網路問答方式進行記名問卷調查,於研究期間發出343份問卷,收集了223份有效問卷,並依S公司薪資管理辦法核發近七個月的個人薪資平均數額資料配對後,進行相關與迴歸等資料分析。研究結果顯示大五人格對薪資有正向關係之假設部份成立,其中親和性對薪資有正相關,而其他面向的人格與薪資之間無顯著關係;工作動機和薪資有正向關係之假設部份成立,其中財務誘因對薪資有正相關,而內在工作誘因挑戰性、樂趣享受及外在工作誘因的外在肯定對薪資則無顯著相關。本研究依據研究結果,針對S公司與未來研究提出管理意涵以及未來研究之建議。
    ;This study examines the relationships between the Big-Five personality traits, work motivation, and employees’ payroll income. Data from employees from the telecom company S Business Unit are collected through the electronic survey. A total of223 copies of valid response is obtained. It is found that emplpoyees’ agreeableness is positively related to their imcome while the rest dimensions of the Big-Five personality are not significantly related. In addition, employees’ financial incentive of the extrinsic motivation is positively related to their income. The findings are subject to the uniqueness of the telecom company S Business Unit and the applications might be limited. Managerial implications and suggestions for future research are thus discussed.
