Zhong Rong described Jiang Yan’s poetry have different styles and good at simulation. The reputation of Jiang Yan’s simulation was revealed. Jiang Yan’s “Thirty Poems” （〈雜體詩三十首〉）that simulate thirty poet’s style had been discussed often in poetry over the following dynasties. They discussed the difference between the original and the imitation, however there was no description of how the "similarity" of the simulated work is formed. Since the Six Dynasties, there has been a simulated atmosphere. Jiang Yan was the master of poem simulation. The purpose of this article is to compare the predecessors′ work with Jiang Yan’s fu（賦）and exploring whether Jiang Yan had literary preferences and opinions.
The article divided into five chapters. The first chapter explain research motivation and predecessors′ resaerches. The second chapter explored the relationship between Jiang Yan′s life and the literary environment. The third chapter explained Jiang Yan′s thirty poems simulation skills and comprehensiveness, which is to analyze of Jiang Yan′s simulation skills and literary claims. The fourth chapter was the studies of simulation of predecessors′ works in Jiang Yan’s “Fu”. From the comparison, readers can find out Jiang Yan′s literary preferences and literary claims. The last chapter was the conclusion.
