    摘要: 個案公司 V 是一個隱形眼鏡製造廠。在過去幾年,V 公司面臨競爭越來越激烈的產業環境,突顯出生產效益不佳的問題。本研究試圖分析其生產效益問題,並探討如何利用新的資訊應用系統,及資訊應用系統間的整合,達到提升生產效益的目的。
    影響隱形眼鏡生產效益的因素很多。本研究首先分析製程良率偏低和不良品流出,造成客訴問題的主要原因。分析發現,V 公司製造現場的製程資訊蒐集,是以人工報表為主。現行的資訊系統主要是企業資源計劃系統 (Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP)。系統中缺少了執行層的製造執行系統 (Manufacturing Execution System, MES)。製造執行系統將可以連結計劃層的,和設備層可程式控制器 (Programmable Logic Controller, PLC)。一個整合的方案,能即時的蒐集製程參數,經由大數據分析,找到影響製程良率的原因。製造執行系統的防呆及預警功能,可以預防現場人員的錯誤動作,及維護製造現場的作業紀律,有效的提升生產效益。
    現代生產管理理論,經過近百年的發展,使用著計算機和網路科技的發展促成的機會,已日臻完善。本研究建議公司導入 MES 系統,以解決所分析出來的幾個關鍵流程問題。接下來,並針對 MES 系統的可能選擇進行分析。經由分析,建置適當的製造執行系統,可有效的解決其生產效率問題,提升V 公司的生產效益。;In recent years, Company V, a contact lenses manufacturer, has been faced with increasing market competition, exposing its problem of poor production efficiency. This study attempts find out how new information systems, and integration among different application systems, can help to improve its production efficiency.
    There are many factors that may affect the production efficiency of contact lenses. The first step of this study is to look into the causes of the production problems, which result in low yield rate and defective products, which in turn resulted in customer complaints. This study found out that the manufacturing processes are sometime error prone, due to its manual information collection. The current information systems do not include Manufacturing Execution System (MES). MES is a system linking Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) at the planning level; and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) on the shop floor. It can also instantly collect process parameters and analyze the causes of process yields through big data analysis. Fool -proof mechanism and early-warning functions of the MES can also help to prevent on-site staff from performing erroneous actions, maintain job discipline at the manufacturing sites, and effectively improve production efficiency.
    In the past century, enabled by computer and telecommunication technologies, modern production management theories have improved drastically. This study proposes implementing an MES system to solve the problems, and carried out a selection process for a suitable MES solution. Analysis suggests that implementing a suitable MES solution can potentially resolve the production problems, and increase the production performance of Company V.
