;The main purpose of this study is to discuss the determinants of Taiwan ’s medical consumables industry in Vietnam and Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and other ASEAN countries in terms of their investment location choices, and compare the different regional characteristics. Relevance to the decision-making of international medical companies to invest in the country. This study used multiple regression analysis. The empirical results found that the population density, consumer price inflation (CPI), and average salary of ASEAN countries are significantly positively related to the foreign direct investment (FDI) results of the world′s top 20 international medical manufacturers. Due to the very special medical equipment access, various products and regions have specific access, and the deployment of access and finding suitable agents will be the key solutions to achieve effective marketing. In addition, hospital procurement models are related to decision-making, and appropriate agents or distributors need to be found. If we consider the import tariffs of various countries, if Taiwanese companies can rely on reasonable overseas references in the early stage of decision-making, it will be beneficial to the subsequent establishment of factories and layout in emerging overseas market.
