Abstract:	本研究使用「『台灣教育長期追蹤資料庫』後續調查」2015年與2018年橫斷面資料，探討起始薪資對於後續薪資與薪資成長的影響。既有文獻，多在探討影響起始薪資的因素（如劉家樺（2020）），而起始薪資與薪資發展的關係卻少有著墨，因此本研究嘗試探討起始薪資與薪資發展的關係，並進一步分析此關係是否因不同的學歷與主修領域而異。本研究的實證結果發現： 1.起始薪資對於未來薪資水準為正向顯著關係； 2.起始薪資對於薪資年增長率為負向顯著關係； 3.以學士學歷下之【服務領域】為對照組時，學士學歷下：【社會科學、商業及法律領域】對於未來薪資水準有正向顯著影響； 4.以學士學歷下之【服務領域】為對照組時，【工程、製造及營造領域】與【社會科學、商業及法律領域】對於薪資發展有正向顯著影響； 5.以學士學歷下之【服務領域】為對照組時，研究所學歷下除了【農學領域】、【服務領域】與【人文及藝術領域】外，所有領域都對薪資發展有正向顯著影響； 6.起始薪資的影響力隨學歷領域不同而不同。 ;This study adopts the 2015 and 2018 cross-sectional data from the “Taiwan Education Panel Survey and Beyond” to estimate the relationship between initial wage and the evolution of wage. Most of existing studies have examined the determinants of initial wage (such as Liu (2020)). However, the relationship between initial wage and the evolution of wage is rarely investigated. Therefore, this study attempts to fill the gap by estimating the relationship between initial wage and the evolution of wage. Importantly, this study analyzes whether this relationship varies with educational level and fields of study. The empirical results show that: 1.The relationship between initial wage and the future wage level is significantly positive. 2.The relationship between initial wage and wage growth is significantly negative. 3.Bachelor’s degree holders majoring in ‘social science, business and law’ have significantly positive impact on future wage level than those majoring in ‘service.’ 4.Bachelor’s degree holders majoring in ‘engineering, manufacturing and construction’ and ‘social science, business and law’ have significantly positive impact on wage growth than those majoring in ‘service.’ 5.Graduate degree holders all have significantly positive impact on the evolution of wage, except for those majoring in ‘agriculture’, ‘service’ and ‘humanities and arts.’ 6.Initial wage plays different roles depending on degree levels and fields of
