Abstract:	筆者的博士論文研究探討白沙屯媽祖進香，結論之一是族群的標示在媽祖信仰中並不明顯。本計畫在延續博士研究的基礎上，想進一步瞭解宗教、族群及歷史記憶的關聯。探討閩客族群的問題需回歸到特定的歷史脈絡，特別是閩南與客家之間往往因為文化融合的關係而不易看出差別。由於白沙屯媽祖祭祀圈內有客家人，其中有參與及不參與媽祖進香活動的情形，筆者希望進一步釐清他們參加與否的原因，探討究竟閩客族群在白沙屯媽祖信仰的儀式實踐與認知詮釋上是否有差異？從歷史記憶來看，筆者想瞭解同處一地的閩南人與客家人對過去的地方歷史，或過去的媽祖進香，在記憶與詮釋上是否有差別？此外，共享的宗教活動是否有助於調和閩客之間的族群關係？是否有助於建構共同的地域認同？還是加深各自不同的族群認同？研究期間：9508 ~ 9607
