摘要:	研究期間：10108~10207;In the recent years, the amount of New Residents in Taiwan is increasing by years. As a result, the amount of K-6 children of New Residents in Taiwan is also growing. However, it has been reported thatK-6 children of New Residents in Taiwan reveal poorer motivation for learning science. This citizen science project is designed to improve this group of learners’ motivation towards science learning and their scientific creativity. To this end, a series of creativity-related and hands-on parent-child science learning activities for the New Residents and their children will be designed and implemented in this project. This project will be implemented by holding several three-day science camps in elementary schools in the middle of Taiwan, and the participants will be the New Residents and their children in the middle of Taiwan. The expected contributions of this citizen science project are: (1) the design of suitable instructional materials for citizen science; (2) the participants can design and make products in the parent-child creative hands-on tasks; (3) improve participants’ attitudes towards science and science learning, scientific knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving ability in daily life; (4) develop suitable parent-child science learning strategies for New Residents and their children.
