過去許多學者針對五大人格特質與工作績效的關連性,發現「外向性」對業務員的「工作績效」有預測效果。本研究以某壽險公司263位業務員與主管為研究對象,以五大人格特質中的「外向性」與「情緒穩定性」與「工作績效」進行探討,結果顯示「外向性」愈高的業務員,業務員「工作績效」愈高;「情緒穩定性」愈高的業務員,業務員「工作績效」愈高。 Past researches have demonstrated that status striving mediated the relationship between extraversion and job performance for sales representatives. These studies of 263 life insurance sales representatives support the previous findings that extraversion and emotional stability are both valid predictor across the job performance for sales representatives.
