二十一世紀是個全球化的競爭環境,台灣高科技產業正處於製造導向轉型為研發導向之際,許多公司每年編列大量研發資金,進行研發活動。此外,近幾年來,有越來越多公司所投入的資金,並非只單純的進行研發活動,而是進行整體性的研發管理方案,然而這樣大規模的投入研發管理,是否能有效提升整體的組織績效,為本研究之目的。 本研究樣本調查對象為2006年度台灣區上市上櫃電子資訊類、食品類、機電類、化工類及生技類的公司。本研究共寄發841份,實收有效問卷116份,有效回收率為14%。主要探討:1. 研發管理策略是否有不同的構面組成,2. 執行不同管理創新方案與研發管理策略構面間關聯,3. 研發管理策略重視程度與組織績效間的關聯。 研究結果為:1. 研發管理策略可以區分為研發策略方向及研發作業流程二個構面2. 研發管理重視程度與是否執行管理創新方案有關聯3. 研發策略方向與當期組織績效無關聯性,但研發作業流程則有正向相關。 The 21st century is a globally competitive environment. Taiwanese high technology industries are transforming from production oriented to R&D oriented organizations, leading companies to invest large amounts of money in R&D. In addition, more and more companies not only focus on R&D, but also the management of R&D. The purpose of this study is to examine whether projects of R&D management improves organizational performance. This study is based on a survey conducted with Taiwanese listed electronic, food, electrical and mechanical, chemical engineering, and biotech companies in 2006. We sent out 841 copies of the survey to companies in these industries. 116 copies were returned, for a response rate of 14%. This study focuses on three issues: (1) whether the R&D management in a business strategy is composed of different aspects; (2) the association between the adoption of different innovative management projects and the composition of R&D strategy; (3) the association between the relative importance of R&D management in a business strategy and organizational performance. This study finds that (1) R&D management strategy is a function of two components: the direction of R&D strategy and the operational procedure of R&D management; (2) there is an association between the relative importance of R&D management in a business strategy and the adoption of innovative management projects; (3) there is no association between the direction of R&D strategy and current organizational performance, but the operational procedure of R&D management is positively correlated with current organizational performance.
