As elementary students observing plants outdoor is limited with seasons so that they cannot actually see flowers, seeds and fruits. One teacher to many students and limited time result that not all students can actually involve the activities during classifying and analyzing plants. In order to provide multiple learning strategies and improve student self-directed learning, this study will use tablet PCs as mobile learning devices, the plant within the school district are employed for learning environment. Moreover, this study proposes the mechanism called CTRL (Context to Text Recognition for Learning). CTRL employed the technology of “Photo & Search” recognizing students’ photos from real life to text messages. Our proposed system provides a scaffolding situation to facilitate students active learning in real environment. Combined with BIG6 strategy and multimedia annotation tools to promote high-level cognitive learning. In technology perspective, combined with Wi-Fi, image recognition technology, augmented reality, multimedia annotations, concept mapping and global positioning system satellite technology to build a situation recognition learning for breaking the seasonal restrictions and easy observing seasonal flowers and fruit. This research including "Situation recognition learning (CTRL) of interactive AR mobile learning system "," Combined with BIG6 strategy and multimedia annotation tools system "," Share the plant distribution system". Accumulating photographs and information about plants from students to extend the graphic database. The experiment participants are the middle and high school elementary students. Try to explore the relationships between the behavior of students' multimedia annotation and integrated virtual and real situation. Investigating the effects about self-learning, learning motivation, learning capacity and learning achievement. Expect this integrated mobile system allows students to build links and increase awareness of self-learning ability through the familiar context of the actual observation, touch and even the human experience.
