;The problem of global drug abuse is becoming more and more serious, and the drug issue has gradually concerned from all walks of life in recent years. It is extremely difficult to rule out drug addiction and if we can′t prevent young people from becoming addicted to drugs at the first level, it would take more time and energy to face treatment or even lead to possible criminal behaviors in the future. The problem results from drugs is still high, showing that traditional propaganda methods have great doubts. In addition to the traditional media expressions, we thought that what else special ways of propaganda might worth to be discussed. In this research, we selected the anti-drug propaganda materials issued by the Ministry of Education and the Police Department to explore whether the traditional anti-drug propaganda materials can improve the attitude towards drugs or not. The use of publicity channels is quite diverse and the information content is presented to the public by different communication appearances. In order to find the tools that can assist anti-drug propaganda materials, this research added a new media playback mode of VR in the traditional mode of communication to see whether it can achieve changes in knowledge, attitudes and beliefs about drugs in anti-drug education. Therefore, this research focuses on common posters and videos on the choice of media and joins VR as a research option. Besides, every person has different processing habits when facing information, this reason might be caused by the differences in gender or the differences results from other traits. For example, some people focus on the expression of images, while others focus on the expression of words. Therefore, subjects are classified into two types of cognitive styles in this research: verbal and visual. By filling out the style of processing scale, we can understand the subjects′ habits in the face of information processing, and further study whether different cognitive styles or genders will lead to drug knowledge, attitudes and beliefs due to different media methods. Through the results of this research, first we can understand whether it is helpful to promote the effectiveness of the promotion if an appropriate training method and assessment method can be designed according to the learner′s cognitive style or gender. Second, based on the results we can improve the design of the teaching materials and develop more suitable ones for the user′s personal characteristics.
